 Waddecar Scout Camp provides camping and self catering in
dormitory accommodation for groups of 8, 10, 15, and 36 people. Waddecar is run on Scout Camp lines and non Scouts and Guides are welcome when working for their Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or similar awards, or when attending their own events. Tents, tables and benches are available for hire. Instruction in Archery, Shooting, Climbing and Abseiling is available, by negotiation.  Many other activities available on site, on a self help basis e.g;
Orienteering, Obstacle Course, Nature Trail etc.It is near impossible to obtain permission for camping in the Bleasdale / Trough of Bowland / Beacon Fell area and this places Waddecar under considerable pressure for camping space with danger of over camping. Early booking recommended. |
