  Venture Forth Base is set on 250 acres of wooded campsite (Great Tower Camp) which is ideal for most outdoor pursuits and conservation projects.

There are three Scandinavian Chalets designed to provide self contained accommodation for three separate groups of 16, 24, or 36 (two or more buildings may be booked for larger parties up to a maximum of 75 persons).

All three buildings are fully equipped including crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, are double glazed, insulated and heated, and have their own toilets, showers, bedding hire service and washing facilities.

Equipment for sailing, canoeing and camping is available for hire from Great Tower Scout Camp, by prior arrangement with booking Secretary, costs available on application.
