| The centre is on an elevated position close to the centre of
the seaside village of St Bees. It overlooks the sea and the headland which
is designated as an `Area of outstanding natural beauty'. It is about 1/2
mile from the beach. St Bees is within easy reach of the Western Lakes and
valleys. Cost is a basic charge per group, per night for up to 10 persons, and extra charge per head up to a maximum group size of 20. It is available at weekends and during school holidays. The centre can be divided into 2 for sleeping on camp beds (provided). It has a fitted kitchen, male and female toilets and showers and a disabled toilet and access. It has gas central heating and there is a separate leader's room. |
