| The Rufford Centre provides retreat and conference
accommodation for self catering adult and young people’s groups in idyllic
countryside surrounding. It is ideal if you are planning a conference, training event, retreat or a church holiday. Overnight accommodation is available for those who are staying for the purpose of a ‘Religious Retreat or associated activities’. Accommodation is for up to 24 people in 8 bedrooms with comprehensive facilities for three disabled people. There is a large comfortable lounge with television, video and stereo, a separate dining room, showers and toilets. Attached to the residential centre is a small chapel which can be used as an additional lounge and conference room. Rufford village is situated between Preston and Liverpool with local countryside which offers flat, easy walking and is ideal for longer rambles and cycling. Groups can explore the Rufford Branch of the Leeds - Liverpool canal. Also nearby is the Martin Mere Wildfowl Reserve and Rufford Old Hall which is 15th Century. |
