Ormside Mill Residential Centre is tucked into the Upper Eden Valley in Cumbria, just three miles from the market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland.  The Mill stands in its own grounds of approximately one acre, which includes mixed woodland, meadow and a paddock.

The area offers superb walking and climbing facilities and is also within easy reach of the Lake District, the Pennines and Yorkshire, making it ideally situated for a  whole range of outdoor activities.

Ormside Mill is currently available for self-catering groups and accommodates up to sixteen people in total.  There is also a disabled block with a disabled bedroom, bathroom and carer’s room if required.  Downstairs there is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, adjoining dining room, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and a utility room.  There is central heating throughout.

A large barn serves as an indoor activity area and a recent extension includes an additional shower block, drying room and classroom. 

Ormside Mill Residential Centre is a partnership between Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People and Greater Manchester Federation of Clubs for Young People.
