accommodation for a maximum of 72 people, mainly in the form of double bunk
beds in single sex dormitories, although these rooms are also available to
families and couples. The staff are particularly accustomed to welcoming
groups in the 8-11 year old range as the area is especially suitable for
primary age parties.Menus are whole-food orientated, with home baked bread. A preliminary visit is encouraged prior to a group visit. Arnside is a good base for trips to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, and is well situated for lots of low level, safe walking with plenty of interest and variety. A field study room includes a video and television and projectors, screen, also library and games room is available. New for 2003, we now are well equipped to serve the needs of guests who
are confined to a wheelchair. We have two downstairs bedrooms one of which
has a full en-suite facility suited for use by disabled guests. We also have
an additional day time shower/toilet for use by disabled people and most of
our facilities - dining room, meeting rooms, kitchen and sitting room - are
fully accessible. For everyone's benefit we now have more showers and
toilets and more smaller bedrooms. Tariff inclusive of all meals and with sole use of a field study room or sitting room. All schools and under 18's - £19.70. Over 18’s - £22.95pp, per night. (A free staff place allowed for every 10 places paid). Self catering also available. |
