Rossendale Hospice - Foreign Currency

Will take any left over foreign currency off your hands to help with their fundraising efforts. Collection points are branches of the Abbey National, the hospice offices at Rossendale General or the hospice charity shop on Bank Street, Rawtenstall.

The Children's Kidney Trust - Old and Foreign Currency

Is asking everyone in Lancashire to look down the backs of sofas for old style 50p coins.  There are still 19 million unreturned to the Royal Mint and the charity can get their full value to help fund its work with sick children and their families.  The trust would also like old large 10p and 5p coins and would welcome two shilling and one shilling pieces, old bank notes and foreign money.   They should be sent to the Children's Kidney Trust, Freepost, Bromley, BR1 1BR

Baby Lifeline - Used inkjet and toner cartridges

"Save a Baby a Day" Appeal

Last year, with the help of The Sun's readers, Baby Lifeline raised over £100,000 to fund the first part of a series of B.I.R.T.H. videos which are already making a significant difference to labour ward training programmes.

We now need £60,000 to complete the series and you could play a large part by donating your used cartridges to this very worthwhile cause.

It is estimated that 55 million inkjet cartridges are used in the UK each year. Most of these are thrown away, but you can send yours freepost to be recycled. For every one recycled Baby Lifeline will receive up to £2.00 towards this excellent project and a further amount of £2.00 for every remanufactured inkjet purchased.

Our target is to recycle 200,000 cartridges.
